Working with the SERG Restaurant Group, so many doors have opened for my career. My first opportunity was the Executive Chef at Black Marlin growing my love for local seafood & developing coastal hospitality. I believe Nick had the confidence in me to take over the Executive Chef position at Poseidon to grow our love for fresh products since then we have partnered up with multiple local farms for produce, fish, oysters, pork, meats, chicken. Through hard work, dedication & a passion for what I do I was offered partnership at Poseidon which was a goal of mine. I have been given countless opportunities such as going to Napa to continue my education on wines as well as being a guest chef at the James Beard House representing Hilton Head Island with some of the local top chef’s. I believe there are endless opportunities for our employees and myself. We have partnerships that give us the tools and the resources to help our employees grow and evolve. I’m walking proof of endless opportunities working for SERG.
I have worked with Giuseppi’s for 16 years. I choose to stay at Giuseppi’s because I always have the support from the owners. They have been very flexible with my schedule knowing that I am a mom. They have given me the opportunity to grow within the restaurant, starting off as a busser and eventually moving in the management. I enjoy my job!
I started off as a line cook. This company has taught me a wide range of things. I've had the opportunity to become a sous chef and train under one of the best chefs in the company Chris Carge.
