Nectar Farm Kitchen
Farm-to-table isn’t just a mantra at Nectar Farm Kitchen; it’s a guiding philosophy. Farms throughout the Lowcountry (and broader South Carolina and Georgia regions) drive its seasonally changing favorites like Anson Mills grains and Cooper’s Country Store hams. But while Nectar may have some of the freshest produce around, it never sacrifices flavor in the service of a philosophy. There’s plenty to indulge in here: hush puppies with spiced sorghum butter, a lavish “Country Board” of pimento cheese, “true” country ham, country chicken salad, smoked duck sausage, chicken skins, pork rinds, and chow-chow; a winning Carolina catfish sandwich, and barbecue country ribs with bacon collards.
Select your table in the spacious dining room with a modern farmhouse vibe, or at the lush, airy patio; both are fine choices.
